Wow, what a weekend! This weekend we had our winter youth retreat. We had 60-65 teens crammed into one lodge-like structure in the snow. The food was awesome, the fellowship was awesome, and the speakers were awesome. Although my dad was pretty sure that Jason wasn't very nice after he gave his message..... The theme of the weekend was priorities. The priorities of our head, heart, and our hands. We played an awesome game called Michelin Man Wrestling. (Youtube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opEBRpSKYR8) And Deal or No Deal. And we had a couple chat/ get to know you/ prayer sessions. I had Brittany, Ashalee, Sara, Misty, Jon Miles, Bryan, and Skyler in my group. So, as you can imagine it got pretty interesting...... We had lots of free time, so I played a lot of board games and card games. We had a karaoke night. It was like American Idol, it was goofy. We had our judges, Emery (Simon), Leann (Paula), and Candice (Randy). One of the groups did a song, and one of the guys in the group was married to Candice, and another one was married to Leann. So, being the dorks they are, Jon (Leann's husband) said, "I am finding myself very attracted to Paula tonight." And Bryan (Candice's husband) said, "I have never been this attracted to Randy before." It was hilarious! Another group did Mouth Like a Magazine by Showbread, and I kid you not, they looked almost exactly like the music video for that song. It was almost scary. (Showbread video for Mouth Like a Magazine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Af8IVH-9Ok8 just in case you don't know what the video looks like.) Yeah, pretty exciting. And, yeah. That was my exciting weekend.
In total, I think I got roughly 7 hours of sleep this weekend. Six and a half of those hours were the second night. And I am still extremely tired. Yup, pretty amazing weekend.

Totally Awesome!
My dad and I were renting a movie from the Redbox today, and there was a guy standing in line behind us. The machine was "Vending Your Movie" and the guy behind us said, "This is a good movie." Speaking about the one in his hand. And it was so awesome to see that the movie he was referring to was Fireproof. OH, so cool. Well, that was all. I just found it very exciting.

I Must Be Special or Something. Or Just Plain Wierd.
I think I have managed to find the only pink air hose in America. At least that's what my dad tells me. My dad and I were going to go find an air hose to put air in the wheel barrow tire. We drove to the Chevron in town, and their air hose was out of order. So we drove down to the Shell station. My dad looked around and didn't see anything. He started to drive away, and I saw a hose on the side of the building. I told him about it and he drove back over there. When we stopped, he got out of the truck and yelled, "It's pink!" The entire time he was filling up the tire he was complaining about the fact that it was pink. When he got back into the car he decided to tell me that I was probably the only person in America who could find a hot pink air hose. And that that was the only hot pink air hose he had ever seen. So I must be special.
Thanks for listening to, or more like reading more of my ramblings.

Puppy's First Snow
The other day it snowed. Now my dog is like six or seven months old and this was her first time seeing snow. She was so excited she was jumping at the snow flakes and it was just so cute. Yeah, she enjoyed it very much. She enjoyed the snow so much she was licking it off the window sill. She is so cute.

Wow, what a wonderful night.
Okay, tonight I went caroling with some people from my church. We went to an assisted living home to sing, and the people were wonderful. The best part of the whole night was when I saw their smiling faces and they were singing along. It was so cool. We went into one person's room. He was a man that we have been praying for. Our church had made him a prayer quilt, and he had that wrapped around him when we sang for him. We sang some carols for him and he sang along. He was so filled with joy that he started crying, I just can't explain what that felt like for me. All I can say is that this was a great night, and I enjoyed it very much.
Sorry if that made absolutely no sense to you, but that was one experience I had to share.

What a day
OK, first things first. History in the making. Obamam was elected president last night in a "landslide" win. He wasn't who I wanted to win, but God knows what he's doing. I pray that God will bless our nations leaders.
Next thing. In my family we have this rule, It's "Don't get hurt." Well I have managed to brake it twice today. First I somehow managed to stab myself in the back of the leg with my mom's sewing scissors. My dad had just barely gotten back from town, I walked outside and showed it to him and he told me to get in the car. We went to the instacare here in town and yeah....... Luckily I didn't have to get stitches, but I did have to get a tetnus shot............ I hate shots, just in case anyone was wondering............ Anyway, no big deal, it didn't go to deep and the doctor said I was fine. The second time I broke the rule was right after we got home. I was heading upstairs to my desk and I stubbed my toe and made it bleed. Yeah, just my stupidity. Goodness gracious.
Well You are probably getting bored of my ramblings, so I will let you get back to picking the lint out of your bellybutton.

Ears, Throats, Heads, and Concerts
Wow, I am like way tired my ears are ringing my throat is sore from screaming and I have a headache, but the concert was AWESOME! The first band to go on was VOTA, they didn't sing any songs that I know. Yeah, they sounded awesome! Next was the band Tenth Avenue North, They sing the song Love is Here. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! It was like so awesome! The lead singer of the band played the acoustic guitar, but he was like totally rocking out on it! It was so cool! So, after Tenth Avenue North, there was a speaker. His name was Sammy A., he talked about the difference we can make by providing someone with clean water in a foriegn country. He talked abou thow if 100 people came to represent the world that 50 of them would be mal-nourished. And he was talking about how only one of them would have a computer in their house. It just amazed me.... He also talked obout the fact that 30,000 children die everyday from starvation. He also said that a child dies every three seconds, because they didn't have any food. Every three seconds. Just imagine that. W e can make a difference, if we only care..... So, he challenged us to give 7 dollars so that we could provide 7 people with water for a whole year. The amount of people that will be given water because of what was given last night was I believe at least 3000 people. It was completely amazing.Well after the speaker was........... SANCTUS REAL!!!! Man, they are awesome live! They did a ton of sogs that I love. One in particular is Turn On the Lights. That is like my favorite son g off their new album. They also did Eternal, Something Heavenly, Everything About You, Face of Love, Lay Down My Guns, I'm Not Alright, Sing, and We Need Each Other. We Need Each Other was the last song they did, and during the last chorus all the members of the other bands went on stage along with the speaker. They were all jumping around and dancing, it was so cool. One of the people picked the lead singer of Sanctus Real up while he was singing and he kept on singing like nothing was going on. At like the very end of the song, a bunch of the people from the bands picked him (the lead singer) up and threw him into the air! Oh my goodness, he kept singing though. And it's not like the cieling was verry high. It was a rother low cieling, he almost wit the roof. It was amazing! I looked at his face, and his face said, "NO! Don't throw me!" It was awesome! Yeah I know I have said that a lot. After the concert I bought a poster, which is hanging on my wall right now. But I think that the best part of the concert was the part where the leed singer of Sanctus Real touched my hand...... It was so totally the best part...... Way cool...... I don't have pictures yet, but when I get them I will most definately post them........ Well I think I'm done rambling, so hasta luego!
