OK, first things first. History in the making. Obamam was elected president last night in a "landslide" win. He wasn't who I wanted to win, but God knows what he's doing. I pray that God will bless our nations leaders.
Next thing. In my family we have this rule, It's "Don't get hurt." Well I have managed to brake it twice today. First I somehow managed to stab myself in the back of the leg with my mom's sewing scissors. My dad had just barely gotten back from town, I walked outside and showed it to him and he told me to get in the car. We went to the instacare here in town and yeah....... Luckily I didn't have to get stitches, but I did have to get a tetnus shot............ I hate shots, just in case anyone was wondering............ Anyway, no big deal, it didn't go to deep and the doctor said I was fine. The second time I broke the rule was right after we got home. I was heading upstairs to my desk and I stubbed my toe and made it bleed. Yeah, just my stupidity. Goodness gracious.
Well You are probably getting bored of my ramblings, so I will let you get back to picking the lint out of your bellybutton.

Ears, Throats, Heads, and Concerts
Wow, I am like way tired my ears are ringing my throat is sore from screaming and I have a headache, but the concert was AWESOME! The first band to go on was VOTA, they didn't sing any songs that I know. Yeah, they sounded awesome! Next was the band Tenth Avenue North, They sing the song Love is Here. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! It was like so awesome! The lead singer of the band played the acoustic guitar, but he was like totally rocking out on it! It was so cool! So, after Tenth Avenue North, there was a speaker. His name was Sammy A., he talked about the difference we can make by providing someone with clean water in a foriegn country. He talked abou thow if 100 people came to represent the world that 50 of them would be mal-nourished. And he was talking about how only one of them would have a computer in their house. It just amazed me.... He also talked obout the fact that 30,000 children die everyday from starvation. He also said that a child dies every three seconds, because they didn't have any food. Every three seconds. Just imagine that. W e can make a difference, if we only care..... So, he challenged us to give 7 dollars so that we could provide 7 people with water for a whole year. The amount of people that will be given water because of what was given last night was I believe at least 3000 people. It was completely amazing.Well after the speaker was........... SANCTUS REAL!!!! Man, they are awesome live! They did a ton of sogs that I love. One in particular is Turn On the Lights. That is like my favorite son g off their new album. They also did Eternal, Something Heavenly, Everything About You, Face of Love, Lay Down My Guns, I'm Not Alright, Sing, and We Need Each Other. We Need Each Other was the last song they did, and during the last chorus all the members of the other bands went on stage along with the speaker. They were all jumping around and dancing, it was so cool. One of the people picked the lead singer of Sanctus Real up while he was singing and he kept on singing like nothing was going on. At like the very end of the song, a bunch of the people from the bands picked him (the lead singer) up and threw him into the air! Oh my goodness, he kept singing though. And it's not like the cieling was verry high. It was a rother low cieling, he almost wit the roof. It was amazing! I looked at his face, and his face said, "NO! Don't throw me!" It was awesome! Yeah I know I have said that a lot. After the concert I bought a poster, which is hanging on my wall right now. But I think that the best part of the concert was the part where the leed singer of Sanctus Real touched my hand...... It was so totally the best part...... Way cool...... I don't have pictures yet, but when I get them I will most definately post them........ Well I think I'm done rambling, so hasta luego!

My Endless Acts of Dorkiness
OK, today I was sitting on the couch........ You are probably wondering what that has to do with dorkiness......... Anyways, I was sitting on the couch reading a book, and there was this beeping. So, I sat there for fifteen minutes, thinking that the beeping is really annoying. After listening to it for fifteen minutes I thought, "that sounds like an alarm clock." % minutes later I was thinking, "That can't be my alarm clock, because my alarm clock is turned off...." 5 minutes later "That's not my mom's alarm clock because hers sounds like a rooster. It's not My sister's alarm clock, because hers stops after a minute of beeping."So, I sat there for 30 minutes pondering. Then after sitting there for 35 minutes I realized it was my brothers alarm clock. So I go into his bedroom to turn it off, and I couldn't find it..... I look everywhere. It's nowhere to be found. So, I looked for it for at least 5 minutes. I finally gave up. I sat down on his bed, I leaned back. Then out of the blue i hit my head on something. I looked up. (My brother has a bunk bed, and he sleeps on the bottom bunk.) And guess what. His alarm clock was hanging from the top part of his bunk bed. So, I turned it off and walked back to the living room. I sat down on the couch, opened my book back up. Then I said, "Man am I a dork."

"Can I have your hair?"
Yes there is a reason for the title.....
Today my sister walked upstairs and was like, "I let my hair dry without brushing it." So my reaction was, "Yeah, so what's your point?" And then she walked into the room...... My first reaction was to roll on the floor laughing, but I figured that it might be a bad idea.......... Her hair was fluffy and wavy....... Sort of like my best friend's sister's hair right after she rolls out of bed in the morning. For those of you who know what I'm talking about, yeah it was that big.......Anyways, she was like, "It's not fair! Well at least you know what I feel like, your hair does the same thing." And I was like, "No it doesn't. The way my hair looks right now is the product of letting it dry without brushing it." Again, for those of you who know me, My hair is mostly strait. Except for a few curls by my ears. So, my sister was like, "It's not fair! I want your hair." And I was like, "Well I want your hair." I think that if it were possible, my sister and I would trade hair.
And in case you were wondering, yes, she owns a straightener. And yes, I own a curling iron.

I almost DIED today (Literally)
OK! My mom and I are going to make cookies, harmless right? Well we needed butter so we're like "Oh, we'll just go to the store." Harmless right? So we are gonna go to the store my mom, Taylor and I, Taylor is going to drive the excursion, harmless right? We walk out into the driveway, there is no excursion. The only options we have are the little truck and the big truck. Harmless right? No, not when Taylor is driving. We took the big truck because it can fit more people. (The big truck is a stick shift just so you know.) The truck died at least 4 times, BEFORE WE EVEN GOT OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY!!! Taylor drove the big truck all the way to the intermediate school. Then my mom took over. *Hallelujah Chorus Playing In The Background*. We went to the store got butter, evaporated milk, pumpkin (for pumpkin pie), and ice cream. We are driving home, and then we reached our road. My mom stopped the truck. I said, "What are we doing?" My mom said it was Taylor's turn to drive. The only thing I could say was "What?!?!?!?" And, "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" Tay did really well. Then we got to our driveway...... DUN, DUN, DUN! So she gets the car into second gear, we're doing good. Then we reach the tiny little hill like thing in our drive way and the truck died. No big deal right? Well then it started rolling backwards...... Tay puts her foot on the brake starts the car and tries to drive into our driveway. The car dies again....... We start rolling backwards, AGAIN! You may be thinking, "No big deal, you don't live on a busy street." Well there is this shiny red Mustang driving right towards us. The only ting running through my brain is, "I'm too young to die!" My mom is yelling, "BRAKE! BRAKE! BRAKE!!!!!!" Finally Taylor puts her foot on the brake and the shiny red mustang drives by us like nothing happened....... "I'M ALIVE!!!!!", was running through my brain. So we pulled into the driveway with a screech of the tires. The screech was so loud the dogs wouldn't even jump in front of the car..... That's my story of how I almost died today....

Price Tags and Name Brands
Okay, so yesterday we went to the mall. It was My sister, My mom and I. We passed store after store. We went into Dillard's (Wich by the way is overpriced.) Then we went into JCPenny's and so on..... Then we went into Holister (This is the whole point of the post) And we were looking around, couldn't talk to esach other because of the blasting music, and we were looking around and my mom was like "This is cute." So we were checking it out, it was a jacket, you know the ones with the fake fur on the hood. So, we kept looking. We finally walked out of there empty handed. Then My sister was like, "I saw the same exact jacket at Walmart yesterday." So I saud, "Yeah, but I bet it was $30 cheaper." Then we went back to Dillard's and my mom bought a pair of shoes for work. We went to payless and I got a pair of tennis shoes and my mom got a pair of heals.
The moral of this story: Name brands are just an excuse to overprice things.
